Mr. Ogorek represents individuals and businesses in a wide range of real estate matters. Mr. Ogorek also maintains a broad estate planning practice focused on comprehensive planning strategies for individuals and families. In the transactional side of his practice, Mr. Ogorek advises and assists clients with real estate acquisitions and sales, landlord-tenant matters, commercial leasing, tenant improvements, and easement, title, and boundary disputes. Mr. Ogorek has also guided clients through complex homeowners’ insurance and title insurance claims.
On the litigation side of his real estate practice, Mr. Ogorek has extensive experience with mortgage servicing litigation, landlord-tenant disputes, homeowners’ association matters, evictions, partition and quiet title actions. Mr. Ogorek has also obtained very large judgments and settlements in breach of fiduciary duty, fraud, and negligence claims against realtors, mortgage brokers, and real estate investors. Not only has Mr. Ogorek been able to achieve excellent results for his own clients, but he has also been retained as an expert witness by other attorneys in residential mortgage servicing cases.
More broadly, Mr. Ogorek has successfully represented individuals and businesses in litigation across numerous industries. Whether in litigation or in a transactional or advisory capacity, he strives to achieve outstanding, cost-effective results for his clients.
Mr. Ogorek is admitted to the State Bar of California and the United States District Courts for the Northern, Central, and Southern Districts of California. He was also named Super Lawyers Magazine Rising Star in 2018, 2019, and 2020, an honor available only to the top 2.5% of attorneys in ten years of practice or less. Mr. Ogorek is an active member of the Orange County Bar Association with membership in the Real Estate, Trusts and Estates, and Business and Corporate sections.
Prior to being admitted to the bar, Mr. Ogorek graduated in 2012 from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law where he was a recipient of the Hastings 1066 Foundation Scholarship and the Editor-in- Chief of the Hastings Business Law Journal. He attended college at the University of California, Irvine, graduating in 2007 magna cum laude with a B.A. in English Literature. While at U.C. Irvine, Mr. Ogorek participated in the Humanities Honors Program and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
